Overview
The Q-See QAPE1601 requires no configuration. All setup is automatic for IP cctv cameras, IP phones, access points etc.
As a fully unmanaged access PoE+ switch the QAPE1601 provides 16 10/100/1000Mbps ports that supports 802.3at/af compliant PoE+ to each port with a total PoE power budget of 400W. This significant power supply allows for access points, IP phones, cameras and other devices to be on each port with the use of inline PoE extenders and PoE splitters. As CCTV cameras are very often more than 100 metres from the access switches the inclusion of PoE+ ports facilitates runs up to 600 metres with extenders saving on data cabinets, inline switches and electrical power requirements. The switch also comes equipped with 2x 10/100/1000 uplink ports with either RJ45 or SFP connectivity. These ports allow for aggregated back haul bandwidth without bottlenecks. This is vital to maintain the video streams to the NVR/VSS without loss.
With all these advanced features, the Q-See PoE Switch is an ideal choice for small and medium business networking for phones, cctv cameras and other PoE network edge devices.
